shrngAra lahari - > oh Devi, you are the wave of beauty and love
shrtajana shubhakari
- who brings joy to her devotees.

madhumAdhuri -whose sweetness is like honey,
madamadhukari- who intoxicates the mind like a bee drunk on nectar,
mangaLAngi -whose form is auspicious and radiant,
madanAri manOhari mAmava- 
who enchants enemy of Manmatha (Lord Shiva), please grace me.

bhrnga chigurE karunArasa parabharitE
 tungajagana lalitE 
surasEvitE lingarAja vadanAmbuja pUritE

aṅgajārī – consort of the destroyer of Kāma (Śiva); Parvati
hṛdayaṅgama – one who enters and resides in the heart
tara-hasitē – with a soft, wave-like, enchanting smile
akhilāgama sannute – praised by all Āgamas and sacred traditions
bhṛṅga-cikurē – hair resembling clusters of black bees
karuṇā-rasa parabharitē – overflowing with compassion
tuṅga-jaghana lalitē – possessing exalted, graceful hips (a classical śṛṅgāra image, symbolizing abundance and creative power)
sura-sēvite – worshipped by the devaas.
liṅgarāja vachanāmbuja pūjitē –
worshipped/ adored by Lingaraja through his lotus-like words
